1. Hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR) has excellent compression set performance, which is determined by its unique molecular structure. During the hydrogenation process, the double bonds in the nitrile rubber molecular chain are greatly saturated, resulting in a significant improvement in the regularity and stability of the molecular chain. When subjected to compressive force, HNBR molecular chains can arrange in a more orderly manner, and after the pressure is removed, the molecular chains can quickly return to their original state, exhibiting an extremely low compression permanent deformation rate. Compared to ordinary nitrile rubber, HNBR can reduce the pressure change value by 30% -50% under the same compression conditions, which can better maintain the shape and sealing performance of seals and other products, ensuring that there will be no leakage or other problems caused by compression deformation during long-term use.
2. The crosslinking density of hydrogenated nitrile rubber is relatively high and evenly distributed, which provides a solid foundation for its good compression performance. The high and uniform cross-linking density enables rubber to form a stable network structure when compressed, effectively resisting deformation. Even under extreme working conditions such as high temperature and high pressure, this stable network structure can still be maintained, resulting in minimal compression permanent deformation of hydrogenated nitrile rubber. For example, after being compressed at a high temperature of 150 ℃ for 72 hours, the compression set of hydrogenated nitrile rubber may only be 20% -30%, while ordinary rubber materials may exceed 50%, which fully reflects the advantages of hydrogenated nitrile rubber in terms of compression performance.
